Can you connect the grill to my home's natural gas line?
Absolutely. Running a dedicated natural gas line to your outdoor grill is one of our most requested features. It eliminates the need for propane tanks and ensures you never run out of fuel mid-cookout.
What is the best countertop material for an outdoor kitchen?
Granite is widely considered the best choice due to its durability, heat resistance, and low porosity. Concrete and certain dense natural stones are also excellent options. We avoid porous stones or materials that fade in direct sunlight.
How long does it take to build an outdoor kitchen?
Most custom outdoor kitchens take between 2 to 4 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design, utility runs, and the specific materials chosen.
Can I add a sink and refrigerator to my island?
Yes! Adding outdoor-rated refrigerators, ice makers, and stainless steel sinks makes your space fully functional. We handle all the necessary plumbing and electrical runs to support these appliances safely.
Will my outdoor kitchen survive the winter?
Yes, we build with the Texas climate in mind. However, it is important to properly winterize your outdoor kitchen by draining water lines to sinks and ice makers before a hard freeze to prevent pipe damage.
Can you build an outdoor kitchen under my existing patio cover?
Yes, but ventilation is crucial. If placing a grill under a covered structure, we strongly recommend (and often local codes require) installing a heavy-duty outdoor vent hood to safely exhaust smoke and heat.
What kind of frame do you use for the kitchen island?
We use heavy-duty concrete block (CMU) or welded galvanized steel framing. We never use wood framing for outdoor kitchens, as wood is prone to rot, warping, and poses a fire hazard near high-heat appliances.
Do you supply the appliances, or do I buy them?
We can supply premium appliances from trusted outdoor brands to ensure perfectly sized cutouts and warranty coverage, or we can build the custom island around appliances you have already purchased.
